Our family had a wonderful time! The location is excellent and very central to all of Marco. Pool and dock were awesome for relaxing and watching the sunrise and sunset. A couple minor cosmetic fixes (a couple doors could use some upkeep) is the only thing I can suggest for upkeep.

Ok getaway

We've rented this property through Harborview for 3 years. Harborview has always been friendly, responsive and professional. All positive things to say about Harborview. However, the home is need of some upgrades to the furniture, some floorings, kitchen items, towels, and some other items. If the owner addresses these then the home is a great place to vacation.

Beautiful home. Had most kitchen necessities. The rental company was very timely with responses and addressed every issue within hours. The outside lanai area was great, so nice to sit and eat meals looking at the water. Lots of pool toys and bikes as a bonus. Would stay here again!

Overall this house was perfect for our week on Marco island. The house could use a little maintenance, but didn't take anything away from our stay. There is a ton of beach gear (though a lot was broken), a bunch of bikes but all were broken in one form or another. (Missing seat, missing pedal, broken chains, flat tires) so unfortunately we didn't use them, and fishing poles with no lines in them. Lots of pool toys, coolers, beach chairs available. We loved having a grill at the house available, and the pool was just perfect! The two kayaks were such fun, we went out with them every morning and enjoying seeing all the wildlife and dolphins come right to us, what a neat experience! House is beautifully decorated, fully stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans, and utensils you may need. The neighborhood is beautiful and super quiet and close to everything, just not much for walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again!

This house is a dream vacation getaway. We stayed a whole week and if we had the time we could spend a month here. The house was very clean, extremely comfy. We felt we were in a dream house. If you guys are looking to have a great time out to relax this is your place

Home was beautiful and a comfortable atmosphere! House was ready ahead of check in time. Everything in great working condition. Easy check in and check out. Deck and pool are beautiful. No complaints from neighbors. Had fun on the 2 kayaks in the canal. 5 adult bikes work well. All beach gear included and 2 fishing poles for canal. Can ride bikes to beach but a little too far to walk. Highly recommend this property.

This is a beautiful house, has all the necessities and is in a nice area. You can see the sunset across the street and if you're up early enough I imagine the sun rise down the canal in the back.

We had a fantastic time and loved the open lay out with master on one side of the house and the other two rooms on the opposite. All rooms are pretty private with spacing between.

Our 5 year old stayed in the pool most days as long as possible. We caught several fish from the dock. Rode bikes to the local restaurants and beach.

We loved staying here. House had all the amenities needed to enjoy your vacation from a fully stocked kitchen to beach supplies. Really loved the table inside the pool. Only down side was the master bathroom doors didn’t close. And the sofa bed was old and caved in so we were unable to use it as planned. Would have also been nice if it was closer to beach/ they provided a residence pass for the beaches. Parking is really bad going to the beach. But other than that we had a great time staying here

The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a great stay and more. It was clean and well equipped. The only recommendation I could make would be that the pullout couch is in desperate need of a new mattress. Luckily our little one is 4 and small because none of our other kids could have used it. Other than that, everything was amazing and better than expected. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

The house was perfect! It was very clean and everything that we expected based on the description (including the beach chairs, bicycles, etc.). There were instructions for lighting, televisions and notes everywhere to help you work everything. We were able to settle in quickly. We visit Marco almost every year and will definitely try to stay at this location again.

This is a lovely, well laid out home. Spacious and bright. One of the things I like about it is that the master bedroom suite is on the opposite side of the house from the two guests bedrooms.

This house has every thing you need for a rental.

This is the first time going through VRBO for a vacation rental and both the home owner and Harborview were great! All were very responsive to questions and the process overall was so simple - made for an effortless vacation. The property was very nice and exactly as advertised. Location of home was perfect, and Marco Island was just lovely. We definitely want to return and would certainly hope to rent this property again.

This was my first time renting a home for a vacation. I have to say even though the weather wasn't favorable, the house definitely made our vacation rememberable. I absolutely loved this rental property. Pictures do not do this home justice.

A spacious, clean, comfortable home for our family of five. The pool was great, negating the need for the beach, tho of course we went there a few times. Great lanai set up! This was a fabulous hotel alternative!

We had a great time in Marco Island! The house was very nice and having our own pool made it easy for the kids to swim anytime. It was nice to have bikes to ride and everything we needed for the beach was there for us! The house was roomy and had all the amenities we needed. We did call the rental company twice about several broken blinds in the master bedroom and the fact that the pull out couch couldn't open up to use and no one ever addressed our concerns. That was a little disappointing!

We had an amazing stay here-- clean house on arrival with plenty of linens and towels for the family. Boat launch was a plus with a fun pool. House was set up with little amenities like bandaids in the bathroom drawer that made it so convenient. Beach supplies to use were appreciated. Definitely a turn key house. Thanks for the wonderful week!

We had an amazing time at this home! They have anything and everything you need for pool or beach time. The house is beautiful, equipped with all you need to spend a wonderful summer.

We came down with our three adult children. The home is lovely, clean, and well stocked. The pool was great and we enjoyed it. I have a few disappointments though. I believe it was the first or second night there there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom. I understand it is more common in Florida than up north to have them in your home but i was not happy. I was told someone would come to spray. And although they came a few days after to spray. They only sprayed outside. Also there were many ants in the bathtub. Secondly, i thought we could walk to the beach but there is no way. Unless you stay a month you don't have access to the beach that is about a mile walk. I found that disappointing because had i known that i would have looked and booked elsewhere because there are many options available. I know i asked more than once and i pulled up the text messages and emails to verify i had asked. We had to drive to the beach and pay 8 dollars to park. Overall, it was a nice stay and we were happy. Go to Lee Bee for fresh fish. They clean it right there for you and nacho mamas for margaritas and nachos cant be missed. Management company was great. My daughter left her NorthFace jacket in the closet and they sent it to me after I called. The place was lovely but i would prefer something closer to the beach that i could walk to. This house is great, and we have stayed in several. The outdoor space with the covered seating and tv is super, and the pool likewise. Highly recommend and plan to return !

Lovely well maintained home in Marco Island in a great location of similar homes at the end of a canal giving you water in the back and a water view from the front. Home features a master bedroom suite on one side of the house and two guest bedrooms and full bath at the other end. Location is residential with easy access to Residence Beach, shopping and restaurants.

Very good vacation. Except for the 3 foot snake in the pool area and the dish washer that has seen better days, there were no major issues.

Perfect! Seamless and wonderful experience from start to finish. House and surrounding area was excellent.

We rented the home for almost two months and found it to be a lovely home to vacation in. Lots of privacy and we were swimming everyday.
Staying here allowed us to explore the Island and see if this is where we want to spend time every year.
The weather was warmer than we expected right up until the day we left and we LOVED it.
Screen around the lanai needs some repair but there were no bugs at this time of year. A palm rat came to visit the first night out on the lanai. One call to Harvorview the next day fixed the problem with an exterminator coming immediately..

We called to see if we could expand the tv viewing package to include some sports channels that my husband really like and it was done immediately. Thanks - it made it very enjoyable for my husband to watch all the baseball news and winter meetings and trades.

After owning a condo for 24 years, we really enjoyed the house and not riding up and down in the elevator.

Perfect location for me would be right on the beach but we soon found out that there isn't such a property available. Just tall condos.

Totally exceeded our expectations! My 2 sisters and our husbands spent a week there. The fully stocked kitchen with its granite counter tops was a joy to cook our seafood in! The pool was awesome. The 3 bedrooms and living room were very nicely furnished. The pier to the water was great too. Working with the rental people was a breeze!

We stayed at this property for a week in July 2015. The property was as described, clean and we were extremely happy, particularly with the location and outside space. In fact we enjoyed the house so much we stayed in more than we anticipated cooking on the outside grill and enjoying the fabulous views and peaceful setting. We also hired a boat for a couple of days which was delivered to the property and is a must to experience the island and its fabulous waterways. We also went to the Everglades which was only a 35 minute drive. We would definitely recommend Marco Island and this property and found the owner very helpful and easy to deal with. Thanks Carter!

We loved this house, pool & dock. The owner & rental agent are very easy to work with. They could not be nicer. The TV in the master bedroom would not change channels. We called the rental office to see about a fix. (We did not expect much of a reply). Within 1/2 hour a very nice guy was there to fix it. The pool is well maintained, we saw a pool guy there twice during our stay. The house was so nice we eat dinner in most nights. The grill had an extra tank of propane. The only thing I would add is a couple of measuring cups in the kitchen.

The garage is well stocked with coolers & chairs for the beach. We made good use of the kayak. Most of the bikes had flat tires, but we brought our own so it did not matter.

This was our first visit to Marco, we hope to return and stay in the same house.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at 349 Lamplighter. Location was convenient to everything we needed or wanted to go. The house was clean and very accomodating. The boys (and girls!) loved to fish off the dock. We visited the beach several times and loved Cinco de Mayo at Margarita's. Snook Inn was also a great place to eat. We grilled at the house several times and the gas grill was great. Only issues were a leak under the kitchen sink that was fixed after we called on Monday; the pool was still very cold, Islander Pool guy found fauly breaker which was repaired the day before we left :( Also, many of the bike tires were flat and that was a real disappointment for us. Despite these inconveniences we loved the house, location and the response time when we called. Would love to come back again.

My family of five (including three teenage kids) stayed at this house in late March, 2015. The house was very functional, with great indoor and outdoor spaces. The owner and management company were both very helpful and courteous. Great location on a canal and an easy bike ride/walk from the beaches.

Felt right at home. Great kitchen for putting together meals but still plenty of wonderful restaurants just a bike ride away. (Bikes provided). Great pool, view, comfortable bed, nice neighborhood...fantastic getaway...wouldn't change a thing

The house was awesome! Equipped with everything we needed for our family and friends! The only issue was bugs in the pool, that were never cleaned, luckily it was at the end of our stay, but we were unable to use the pool the last 2 days:(

We enjoyed our stay, the pool was great! We had a small issue with an appliance and the realty company sent someone over within 2 hours and had it fixed!

Our family enjoyed our time down on Marco Island. The house was the perfect place for our family. There was enough space for all of us. The pool was great with the perfect temp everyday. The house was nice and clean.

It was very nice amount of pool toys that we were able to use - one less thing to worry about bringing or purchasing. All in all this was a great place to stay for our family.
If it should be one negative thing to tell about; the grill was not cleaned before we come.

The home was perfect. We spent many sunrises on the dock and breakfast table. The pool was beautiful especially the table built in. The home was spotless as if it was our own. It was close to everything(beach and restaurants) great home for kids. We will be back to rent this home again.

The 349 Lamplighter location was very convenient. The property was well stocked and had everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable stay with the exception of the cleanliness of the property which left something to be desired. Upon our arrival we found bits of food on the floor in the kitchen, ironically next to the bait traps meant to eradicate roaches (of which we saw many). We were surprised to find roach traps in a "pet friendly" rental property. They presented a hazard to our dog who was drawn to the scent of them. We were fortunate to discover that he was chewing on one before it became a serious situation. The HVAC intake vent was filthy, covered in dirt and dog hair. The blinds were covered in a layer of thick dust.
We were very pleased with the house and its amenities. The owner provided many items we have not typicallyfound in rental properties - TP, paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc. The pool was well maintained and provide a good deal of enjoyment. The bikes were a huge bonus!
A thorough "Spring cleaning" would cause me to rate this house 5 stars in all categories.

THE ONLY THING I NEED TO SAY ABOUT OUR 5 WEEK STAY AT THIS VACATION HOME WAS THAT IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! I ONLY WISH I WAS ABLE TO GET IT FOR THE SAME 5 WEEKS NEXT YEAR, BUT SOMEONE BEAT US TO IT.

We loved this house and was just what we needed after 10 days of theme parks in Orlando. The house is just as the pictures show on the website with a great pool, good quality furnishings, kitchen equipment etc. The private dock is excellent for relaxation and fishing and we did actually catch some fish! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Marco Island area.

Stayed the week, and had a great time. Fishing from the dock, cold drinks in the pool, and walking distance to Chocolate Covered Strawberry (must visit for ice cream) . Perfect house for families, will come back for seconds! Thank You

pool heat was included in rental rates and was very warm when we arrived - it had obviously been heated up for our arrival(in our 25years of renting properties in florida we have many times had to remind rental companies that we have paid for pool heat and it has taken 3-4 days for the pool to heat up) so many thanks everyone.The pool did get a little too warm but the "pool man" came either on the Wednesday or Thursday and explained that the pool heater was a little temperamental and could only work on either"on" or "off", so he switched the heater off for us and the pool remained warm enough to swim comfortably for the rest of our holiday. We would certainly return to this home again and found the owner and rental company a pleasure to do business with.

We find the only way to vacation now is to rent a home. This one certainly did not disappoint. It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having our meals on the lanai everyday, BBQing and even watching TV from the pool. There were a few bikes to use...some needed a bit TLC but still very useable. Great bikepaths in the area. Biked to the beach a couple of times to watch the sunset. Truly enjoyable....can't wait to figure out when we can go back!

only the best I have ever been on, the accommodation was 5 Star and the people the same.

We arrive on Saturday and the pool was 62 degrees. We called the management company, they never called back. The kids couldn't use the pool for 3 days. We used the pool for Tuesday and Wednesday only. After that the pool was freezing again. We continued to call the management company but they never responded. Overall the house was clean but extremly disappointed on the pool. We decided to stay at a house this year paying extra for a pool however it was a huge disappointment.

We have just resturned from a fabulous Marco Island vacation. Our rental property was everything we expected. Extremely clean, and up to date. We loved the heated pool. We hope to return here soon.

We invited friends and family from France to join my wife and I for a week stay on Marco Island. We all enjoyed this home very much. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lanai every morning and most evenings with the beautiful view of the canal. The pool was great! Definitely would consider staying here again.

The pictures of the home were very accurate. The home was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool and lanai. The owner was extremely accommodating due to us arriving during tropical storm Issac. Karen at Harborview Rentals was always helpful and pleasant when we called with question regarding the home. The only minor negative was that the kitchen was lacking a few small items. We would recommend this home to our friends. This was our sixth visit to Marco Island and would have to say that this was one of the nicest homes we have stayed in.

We had a wonderful time at 349 Lamplighter on Marco. We thought the location was perfect - right at the end of the canal and yet you can see water from the front of the house too. The house itself was great - a workeable size for a family and beautifully furnished. Pool and acess to the water for fishing enthuiasts was perfect for all the boys in my family. We were sad to leave.
