The condo was as advertised. Decent amenities, size, and furnishings. The balcony had a great view of the ocean. The location of the condo is great and very convenient, near everything on the island. It was a quick walk to the beach, which is nice even though it takes a while to get from sand to the water. The only real issue we had was the constant and prevalent construction. The large building was getting windows replaced for many of its units. This work occurred 5 days a week from 7:30 AM to 5 PM. We had lifts located on each side of our corner condo and it sounded like a war zone most of the time, inside and out. The beach was also getting re-graded by the city, so a massive section was roped off with bulldozers and other equipment working 6 days a week. This greatly decreased the ambience of the entire experience. I know this is not the fault of the rental company or owner. However, some greater transparency on this issue would have been nice so we would at least have known to expect this and choose elsewhere if this would not work for us. Additionally, I think the price could have been lowered somewhat in light of these constant disturbances. I would recommend calling the property directly to get the construction schedule prior to booking the next time. Other than that, it was an all and all beautiful location and experience.
