This top floor 1 bed 1 bath condo offers some of the most stunning sunsets from your very own private balcony. The Apollo Condominium is located on the South tip of Marco Island. The views are absolutely stunning! Enjoy all the amenities the Apollo offers, sauna, fitness room, tennis, spa, heated pool and the popular on-site Sunset Grille! Only a few other buildings on the entire Marco Island beach has a walk-up restaurant/bar, those being the hotels.

The Apollo was nominated in 2015 by Trip Advisor, the highly regarded Traveler's Award Certificate of Excellence! This award winning building provides an unreal experience for all guests that visit.

"Loved the condo! Sunset views, clean, and rental agency was friendly. Looks like the condo unit was freshly painted - we appreciated that. Suggestion - the screen door needs repaired.
We enjoyed the Sunset Grille attached to the condo - very convenient. We spent mornings and evenings on the patio overlooking the beach! We love Marco Island!

"We had a good rental experience, and I would stay here again. The condo was clean, and the management company was easy to work with. My only complaints were that the garbage cans did not have plastic liners and there was no Kleenex, both of which I thought should be provided.

"We always stay at the Apollo every year. This was our first time in this condo. The up grades were nice and the unit was clean. Our biggest complaint was with amenities. Condo does not have ceiling fans which is a must in that heat. Also the lighting in the bedroom was so dim you could barely see. For a unit that only sleeps 4 , there were 8 beach chairs but no wagon or cart to pull them to the beach, very inconvenient. Furniture needs upgrading.

"We have a great time. The condo was ok. It said newly remodeled but the curtain rod in living room was very rusted. The balcony door didn’t lock. We did like the medal curtain on the balcony though. The wind got up pretty strong and that let us sit out there. We would love to come back next year.

Magnificent Marco

"Our unit was a great location, great views from the 10th floor. Check in & out was easy. Loved that it had safety features getting in & out of the condo. Lobby was nice.
The unit had some upgrade but needs a lttle more love. The bed was very uncomfortable, fan in bathroom was so dirty that we were surprised it worked. And towel bars were ready to fall off wall. The patio furniture was made of PVC, not comfortable. Overall the unit was clean and nice.
We would stay here again, but hope that a few things get fixed and replaced along the way.

Fabulous view from Beachfront Penthouse

"We stayed at this property for 4 nights. It was ideally situated on a beautiful beach and we were able to enjoy morning walks and evening sunsets. We made use of the kitchen facilities for breakfast and dinner although the cooking facilities were somewhat limited. The crockery and glassware need replacing. The doors to the balcony were difficult to open. Overall in our view if a few hundred dollars were spent on it, it would improve the quality and enjoyment of the stay.

"We enjoyed our time just hanging out, swimming, walking on the beach and the convenience of Marco island. Nothing elaborate as we’ve stayed at the Marriott and Hilton as well as another unit in the Apollo previously. It’s was the right amount of space and amenities for both me and my husband. A better coffee maker would have been appreciated but everything else was in order. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate my 60th birthday here. We will remember our time always.

"We were thrilled with our stay at the Apollo on Marco Island! The view was incredible and the sunsets were the best! Nothing like being able to sit on the balcony, with a drink, watching the sunset! The location of the condo was great! We were able to walk to breakfast each morning and tried a few different restaurants. I would recommend Doreen’s Cup of Joe! The best ice coffee and breakfast selections! We ended up going there for three days straight, it was so good! We will be back to Marco Island and this condo! The condo and the building was very clean, spotless! It was a great vacation getaway!

"The apartment was very clean and the view was amazing. Bedroom need a bit more lighting as it was dark. The only issue was the shortage of towels. Two bath size towels for two people is simply not enough. We will be back!

"Wonderful. We had stayed here 3 years ago. We lived it so much we chose it as our wedding destination location. We used Platinum Florida Beach Weddings at got married 200 ft from the condo on the beach. I will say that a trip on the Marco Island Princess for a dinner cruise is the best meal we had out of all the high dollar resturants we tried.

"We loved this place! The view is absolutely stunning! The beach is just steps away, which is awesome! The kitchen the rest of the condo show a freshly redone appearance. Which is nice. The Sunset grill is on the ground floor. We had a couple drinks there but did not make it around to eat there. We enjoyed making our bacon and eggs overlooking the beach with the morning sun coming over The Apollo condo. We also enjoyed cooking and eating a couple dinners on the balcony too. The price for this condo is fantastic for everything that you get. And we saved money by eating some of our meals in. We went to Pinchers nearby for dinner once and Doreen's Cup of Joe on the morning we left and we recommend both. We read some of the reviews and they were mostly positive. Some of the negative comments had some truth though, but it the odd tiles in the utility and out on the cart on the balcony did not bother us too much. But the owner could remove these just to satisfy guest's need for neatness. But we 100% recommend this unit in the Apollo!

"First time Vrbo or similar renter.We enjoyed our week, but learned that we need to ask more specific questions before renting.Would have preferred totally updated unit.Impressed with staff, location, parking arrangements, security, overall upkeep and cleanliness of Apollo building.Unit 1002 -fantastic VIEW! Did have newly remodeled kitchen and bath which were nice. Cookware, flatware, dishes and small appliances had been updated, but old items had not been removed.Storage closet (furnace) in main room very dirty with leftover tiles, vertical blind slats, plastic from new mattress, and non-working hand vacuum stuffed in there.Other unused tiles stacked under table on balcony and in outside beach storage closet. Decor very dated. Needs new couch and chair, floor lamp.Dining chairs stained seats.New drapes not right length and not hung properly.Sliding screen door rusty and comes off track easily.New mattress comfortable, nice new linens although drawers and under bed stuffed with old linens Bedroom dark.Even though nice to have beach equipment including cooler, outside closet very dirty, shelves missing.
Would certainly stay at Apollo again, but not 1002 unless we see evidence of complete renovation.

"This was our first time on Marco Island. Great condo for two people. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Loved eating on the balcony and taking in the view. Bed and linens were very nice and we had plenty of towels for the week. It was nice to have two chairs, an umbrella and a cooler for the beach.

"Overall a very nice stay at the Apollo. Great views of the Beach and Ocean from the balcony. Unit was clean and as shown. Only complaint is with the sofa sleeper comfort. Might be time to switch out the sofa unit / mattress, etc. Other thing, is if the unit could provide extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, needed items for basic use. Location was great, pool very nice as well. We liked the Sunset Grill on the bottom floor as well. Good food, drinks, and great view of beach / ocean. A secured building, a key is needed to enter many of the areas. A one time $25.00 parking fee for the length of stay. Overall, a very nice stay at this unit / condo location.

"We enjoyed our stay at Apollo 1002. It was clean and ready a little bit earlier to beat the check in crowd. Has a great view being on the top floor. Loved how secure the whole complex was. Need a key to get into the complex and a key to even call the elevator.

Restaurant on the bottom floor was really good, but a little pricey.

"We had a wonderful time. The realty company was easy to work with, got back to us with our questions quickly, and the check in and out process was extremely smooth. The unit we stayed in was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had plenty of dishes and cooking appliances to eat in the room. The sunset grille located next to the unit was not loud and we could still sit outside on our patio and enjoy the ocean while people dined below us. The only negative thing was the screen door to the patio had a broken wheel and wouldn’t open or shut, but we just took the screen off the track and left the door open. No bugs or birds joined us inside. We will definitely be booking at the Apollo again.

"The condo has updated kitchen and bathroom which are very nice. The bedding however, was in terrible condition.... sheets were picked and definitely heavily used. We requested a new set of sheets which were brought to us. My recommendation to any rental company or owner is to make sure sheets and bedding are of good quality, soft and hotel quality. Getting a good nights rest is crucial to ones opinion of a rental.

"The view from this place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful view for sunsets and perfect for watching dolphins in the ocean. It is nice and covered so you can watch the thunderstorms roll in over the water without getting wet. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. My only complaint is the front desk hours are pretty limited so if you have a question or need help from them you have to work around that. But you pick up and drop off your key in another location so it doesn't affect check-in/out. Do be aware they ask you to turn off all lights or close all blinds at dusk for the turtles. Overall great stay at a great price, would definitely come back!

"Our condo was nice. could use a little better lighting in the bed room and maybe a few more kitchen supplies. A new blender would be nice,Had lots of towels and Beach towels, the beach chairs were not very sturdy and the beach supply closet got cleaned and straightened up by my husband.
We loved the condo location. the cook top buttons are very touchy, so it kept shutting off on us till we figured it out. Overall we enjoyed our 2 weeks at the Apollo. Can't say we enjoyed the Sunset grill though. Slow service and basic food. but that has no thing to do with the condo. Front desk were very helpful. LeeBe's Fish Market was our favorite place to eat on the island wish it was closer to the condo!

Halloween Trip

"We had a fabulous time on Marco Island, weather was beautiful and the condo was in excellent condition. All of the employees that I had contact with were professional and courteous. The pictures on-line for the rental were realistic. If I had to change one thing about my experience it would be the antiquated check in and out system. I had to pick up keys in one area and check in at the condo, usually rentals now-a-days use a key less system and you really do not have to talk to anyone at all. Also using and remembering to bring the enter and exit gate pass was a bit annoying this should be a code entered each time you have to passthrough. I sound like I am complaining but I am not , just suggesting. All in all a great trip and area!

"I loved the place. Very clean and relaxing. The views were amazing,great unit. It was beautiful. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is to please FIX the venetians Blinds in the living room, they keep falling down and it's very annoying and please put a ceiling fan in the bedroom ceiling. "View from condo was excellent - with having to have the blinds closed after 9:00 created a problem. The blinds in the condo kept falling down which I can't believe prior renters didn't say something because there were blinds strips in the closet that weren't even hung up - bottom line we couldn't have the lights on in the unit because of this issue - the only other minor thing would be check out time, seemed a little early.

"Visiting Marco Island for the first time was an awesome experience. My wife and I not only relaxed on the beach throughout the week, but we went on a couple tours that we got to experience the wildlife and scenery Marco Island has to offer. There were plenty of places to dine and hang out at, at night as well. All of which was referred by Stephen. Stephen provided many options to do in Marco before we arrived. We also appreciate the quick response Stephen had when we had a couple of questions and that he addressed them immediately. We enjoyed the updated condo and beautiful walkout balcony overseeing the ocean, as it was everything we expected. Very nice person to work with who cares about the guests and ensuring their vacation experience was as easy, relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We would definitely vacation to Marco Island again and contact Stephen when we do.

"This is a small one bedroom condo with bedroom in back (king sized bed) and not on ocean front which was a disappointment. Kitchen was in good shape but rest of furniture is beginning to show its age. Location is good with nice pool and hot tub, and easy beach access. Having Sunset Grille restaurant right on the property made it easy to get lunch or dinner when we did not want to go out. Good place to use as a base of operations for a Marco Island vacation

Hot vacation

"The Rental is small. I knew this going down. I had stayed there before. The grounds and building is very well maintained. And everyone is very friendly. I especially like having the Sunset grill downstairs.
But great for a beach bum. I mainly stay on the beach. It didn't have any toilet paper or garbage bags. Overall I would give it a 9. Would go back.

Beach front unit. Can't get any better

"I love the balcony! Looking directly at the ocean. Kitchen supply is adequate, a bit under par in quality. Plenty of towels. Some beach toys, chairs and umbrella. Overall it is an 8. I would give it a 10 if it come with some dish washing detergent and the toilet wasn't running all day long

Relaxing

"The entire process couldn't have been any easier. All instructions are thoughtfully laid out (ie from arrival to rental company for picking up the keys to dropping the keys off on your final day) The moment we walked in and saw that beautiful ocean view, I was in heaven. The condo was nice, clean and had a cozy feel. Everything is pretty much provided to you (ie beach chair & umbrella, pots and pans, dishes, etc.). Such a great trip!

6 days of fun in the sun

"The room was well kept and neat. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like rocks every night! The view from the 10th floor is unbeatable and we got to observe some wildlife as a huge storm rolled through! During our stay we went kayaking and saw a loggerhead turtle! The cons: Upon arrival there were small ants in the kitchen area. This is a common Florida pest so I wasn't terribly concerned but the pest control company couldn't get there until Friday and our vacation was basically over at that point. In addition - though I feel it should be said this is NOT Harborviews fault- the Apollo began testing fire alarms the week we were there. Three days in a row we were woken up or jarred awake because the fire alarm was going off. It just wasn't exactly stress free between the ants and alarms. The pull out sofa was extremely thin and my son slept on the couch itself because it was so uncomfortable. The kitchen and patio furniture needs updating but it was functional. Overall a pleasant trip with a few hiccups that I'm sure can be easily adjusted! :)

"I have been coming to Marco since 1985 and love it as much now as I did the first visit. This was my first visit to the Apollo and I was very pleased both with the accommodations and the location. The unit My husband and I stayed in was small but more than adequate for 2 people and being located on the 10th floor provided gorgeous views up and down beach. My only negative was the unit could use some updating in both décor and amenities.

"Loed the unit. It was clean, beautifully decorated with a wonderful balcony overlooking the beach. The negatives were that the pool was closed for all but the last day for repairs,which was very dissapointing to us. The other thing was that sea pork had washed ashore and the odor while at the beach was very unpleasant, not to mention the sight of the dead sea pork as we stepped over and through it to get to the water. The weather was perfect and we loved the island.

"We were pleasantly surprised with the nice condition of the property after reading a few bad reviews about the televisions being old and sheets being torn. We found new flat screen TVs and very nice sheets. The appliances are old but everthing worked. Great view.

"Everything was perfect except we could not check in at 3:00 because the unit was still being cleaned. We didn't get in until 4:00. I requested a $75 credit to my security deposit (which I still did not receive) since if I stayed an additional hour I would be charged $75. This seems logical to me. Instead they will give me $100 credit to next years stay which is fine but if I don't stay there next year I'm the one who loses.

"We recently stayed down at Marco Island. This is a great place to stay. The view from this condo was spectacular, along with the beautiful sunsets. The condo was clean and as described. The only negatives I have is it would have been nice to have more than 6 hangers for 2 people, and it would have been nice to be informed that there was only community laundry and you needed quarters. If you are requiring me to wash the towels we use, let me know that I need to bring quarters. In this world where we use credit cards for everything, we had to scramble to get enough quarters.

"This condo is clean and has the very basic amenities. The one bedrooms in the Apollo are very small but being outside so much makes it work. For more than a week I would find this condo too small. This particular one bedroom could use some updating (still has a VCR player, no DVD player and with a redbox on the island it would be nice to watch a movie on the TV, not our computers); kitchen has very basic supplies, and there were virtually no cleaning supplies. Location is nice though you are right at the public beach access so it does get busy. Loved hearing the surf at night, seeing the dolphins right from our balcony, and of course the beautiful sunsets. We would stay in the building again but would try to find an updated unit.

"I am a regular to Marco for 20 years now. This is a perfect unit for 2 people, top floor, million dollar view, on the beach, sunny and clean. If you have guests, the living space would be tight, the unit is 475 sf. The bedroom is huge with a king bed, but you will spend all your time on the balcony and in the living area which has a complete view of the gulf coast! We had guests for one night and they slept on the pull-out in the living area which was fine for one night. I would not recommend guests for more than 2 nights. Updated, bright unit ON THE BEACH with a million dollar view! If you want the perfect place for 2 or want to invite guests for a night or two... this is it. Perfect and the BEST BUY ON MARCO!

"The sliding screen door to the balcony is broken. The bathroom sink faucet spout is too close to the edge of the sink bowl. You have turn the water way up to get your hands under the water flow. Change the toilet seat to a flatter one instead of a dipped one OR lower the height of the water in the commode because a man like me gets wet when he sits down on the toilet seat. The kitchen stove burners are not level which makes it difficult to cook on - especially fried eggs and pancakes.
