Great Rental in a Great Location

"I was a late add for a conference at the JW Marriott that had been sold out for months. This condo was right across the street making it a perfect location to be able to walk to all meetings and dinners there and close to the hotel. The property was clean and quiet which both ranked high on my list of desireables. I checked in late at night and out early in the morning, both after/before hours for the property management company. However, all directions and communication made for a seamless process. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed to make breakfast.

Two comments to consider if you're booking here: 1) There is light that shines in through the bedroom window at night. There are blinds but they don't block the light very well. Bring something to block that light if you prefer a very dark room. I knew to bring something (a dark sheet) because of a previous review. 2) The blinds in the living room are white sheer. I didn't really mind because I don't think anyone can see from out on the street, but others may not like the perceived lack of privacy.

Great Rental in a Great Location

"Immaculately clean apartment, comfortable and well appointed. Enjoyed the large patio too. Location was excellent for beach access and we really appreciated the beach chairs! "The condo was very clean and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only complaint I have is there was no TV in the bedroom. I like to watch tv while laying in bed so that was a real bummer. The other thing I didnt like was there were no blinds in the living area and the windows were covered with sheer curtains, therefore, anyone can see in. The curtains also had a few holes in the fabric. We were able to see a little bit of the ocean across the street. The balcony faces Collier avenue which can be a bit loud but we still enjoyed it. The condo is a short walk or drive to many restaurants. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would rent this condo again.

"The condo was amazing but there are 3 things that I think the owner should fix.
1) the key for the door was incredibly difficult to deal with. It was difficult to open the door because the key is faulty.
2) the umbrellas are broken
3) the cooler is ripped and leaks.

"We were very satisfied with the location and our unit. It was very nice. My only complaint is that the floors were very dirty. My feet/socks were black just walking around. Apparently, the housekeepers just sweep and don’t mop. Also, they should stock quarters for the laundry in the office.

"What a marvelous experience! Beautiful accommodations with everything I could need, right across from the beach with the most shells I’ve ever seen and dolphins jumping in and out to get fish in competition with pelicans!!! And such a nice community of locals, I lost my wallet the first day and it was returned to me within an hour! The condo had a kitchen and I was able to make meals from a food box that I had delivered to myself, and I went to the local seafood market to add to it.... Surf shops and sun wear stores. It is super close to all the large resorts for ease in conference attendance. Overall, very magnificent!

"We loved the condo, great space easy convenient location. Room was not ready and we were there after 4:30. Girls had to bring back towels etc. a few with holes in them and it took an hour or so.Balcony could use a new bistro set, chairs very worn out.Beach chairs ok just needed another higher one, umbrella great but we really needed a cart with wheels to traverse the walk from condo to beach.I would rent this condo again if a few things added like, high beach chair, new outdoor chairs, cart to carry beach paraphernalia and better lest used towels. Other then a few things we loved the place and space and location!

"This unit was very comfortable and extremely clean I have a hard time settling in rental units or hotels worried about cleanliness. This unit was very clean, well-equipped, great decor, and in a great location. The building is dated, yet there have been upgrades and it is well maintained.
We were able to get to the beach, walk to the JW Marriot Spa, walk to nearby places. Other beaches are private or further on the island. It was great to just walk across the street. I always felt very safe, too.
The only downside is during high season, the unit overlooks S. Collier, which is a busy road. Therefore, you need to get used to the sounds of traffic.
As mentioned, there is not a laundry inside of this unit, which would have been nice for wet towels. However, we made do. If you stay here, I suggest a beach wagon or backpack chairs to get you to the beach.
The property is small but maintained. We enjoyed pickleball and the pool. Despite the busy time of year, there was always room at the pool.
When booking, we had a couple hiccups because it was our first experience using Home Away. There is a rental company that you need to work with in addition to Home Away. The property manager/employees were helpful and made appropriate adjustments.
We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Perfect location in Marco Island

"The condo was very clean. You can walk for everything you need, breakfast, shopping, the movies, etc. There are only sheers on the windows so there is no privacy and no way to keep out the sun setting in front of the building. Everything you need is supplied, even sand chairs. There was only the set of sheets on the bed although there are many in the closet, none fit the bed. You really just walk across the street to get onto the beach. We would sit beside JW Marriott, which is only a few steps away from San Marco Residences. We really struggled with only one TV in the unit. My husband and I do not watch the same TV at night. I definitely loved the pool and BBQ grill on the patio. Everyone really friendly, most are repeat renters from year to year. I would definitely recommend San Marco Residences. Harborview Rental office is on the first floor and were extremely helpful during my two week stay.

"If you are looking for a great location with quick access to the beautiful beach on Marco Island, then this is a perfect place to stay. The condo is in excellent condition and renovated. "This condo is great for a couple who want to relax and enjoy the beach. Everything is as shown in the pictures. Comfy bed, good size bathroom, closets etc.
This property provides beach chairs, coolers, beach towels etc. The pool is clean, warm and the people we met were very friendly. The property was well maintained. Beach access is across the street.
Not to far from restaurants. We ate at Sunset Grille sports bar, Joey's Pizza and Ario(Marriot).
The only downside is no washer/dryer in the units. They are on each floor in a separate area and are coin operated but there is no change machine in area and managment has no change or petty cash either.
If you need to do laundry, bring quarters.
I would definitely rent here again.

"We love our San Marcos Condos! This is the first time in this particular unit, but our 4th time at this location. This unit had a much better view of the Gulf from it's balcony that our previous one. The location is perfect, as the complex is right across the street from the public access. We park our car in our assigned space and leave it, until we decide to go somewhere else for dinner that is not within walking distance. Away from the hustle and bustle of the more northern part of the island, but close enough to the Marriott to saunter over for a colorful drink at sunset. The management company for this unit could not be more friendlier, helpful and fun. This unit had all the beach necessities we could wish for, so leave your beach towels, coolers and umbrellas at home! Everything was clean and up-to-date... The only thing missing, I think, if I wanted to get really picky, is a French press for my organic coffee.. LOL. Thank you Harborview Rentals, Steve and your wonderful staff! You know we will be back! But, I'm afraid if I give too many stars, other people will discover our special spot!

"The stay here was a solid ten. Not only was the pool at a constant 86 degrees but the ocean view and the firm king size mattress made it difficult to leave. All new appliances made for an impressive stay.

"We've been to Marco Island several times and stayed in either popular hotels or rented condo units near the ocean. This time we decided to rent a 1/1 unit across the street, but near beach access. This unit fit our goals and met our expectations perfectly. The price was very competitive and the unit was clean and well laid out. The appliances were fairly new and the kitchen and bath, well stocked. While nearby construction was taking place at the Marriott Resort, it didn't interfere with our plans or private time. Access to the beach was right across the street and the pool was clean and good size. The only disappointment was the vacuum didn't work properly (Not a big deal since other cleaning options were available). The staff was accessible and great to work with too!

Our unit was well appointed, updated and provided a perfect view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Enjoyed the pristine pool and took advantage of the shaded table and comfortable lounge chairs.
